Marta Melucci is a teacher, trainer and performer. She trained in the field of international contemporary dance and enriched her path through the practice of contact improvisation, yoga, tap and aerial dance.
She danced for various companies and in various countries of the world. Since 2005 she has co-directed the Schuko company with which she creates shows, site-specific performances and multimedia works that integrate dance, design and visual arts. She graduated in Philosophy with an anthropological address and was involved in education in the school and social fields. Over time, she has integrated choreographic research with an interest in the human sciences, the body-mind relationship and pedagogy.
She is a certified teacher of the Feldenkrais Method® and of A.I.M.I. Through her training proposal, Being Movement, she works with people aged 0 to 100, following the belief that movement and learning are areas of experimentation that are indispensable to humans at any age. She holds courses and workshops for professionals in the performing arts, sports and health sectors, for amateurs, children and disabled people. She has taught dance in various schools and professional academies M.A.S., Paolo Grassi in Milan and Nico Pepe in Udine. Since 2013 she has collaborated with Arteffetto Danza.
She is the author of the manual Lessons of the Feldenkrais Method®, for an ecology of movement, published by Xenia.
